shiika
As the title suggests, my sd card has suddenly stopped working. One minute I take it out, and 20 minutes later I replug it into the machine and the card cannot be read. In disk utility, it is recognised, and can see that it's read/write, but the sd card cannot be partitioned or dealt with. From terminal, I use "diskutil list", and it recognises the sd card, but it says nothing under "TYPE NAME". When I try to format/partition the sd card it hangs on "waiting for disks to reappear...". It is not the micro sd reader as I tested it with another computer & another sd card which both worked. I really need help on how I am to fix this micro sd card. shiika
Could I please get an answer? I don't know what is wrong with my sd card that came with the rubber ducky. Is there a manufacture made formatter I can use to fix my RAW card?
Yaka
I had the same issue, so I send a message to the commercial support and they sent me a new one. You should be careful when you plug the reader into the usb port: -is the sd card fully inserted in the reader ? When I say fully i mean it. -is the reader fully inserted in the usb port ? Same here Also, don't be scared of waiting 4-5 minutes, sometimes it takes time to read the card.
BobH
Is it still true that it takes a LONG time for the card to recognize? EDIT>> I waited more than an Hour and Nothing recognized on my mac. pulled up a Windows VM and after 20 minutes it still does not see it. I think I may have a non functional adapter. no42
adapter should be straight through? so i would rule out the adapter, if you don't unmount the card correctly it can use errors. Use the disk-utility app(gui) to reformat the card as FAT32 or MSDOS, and unmount the card unmount/diskutil (or even finder). Hopefully your card should spring back to life. All else fails try another micro-sdcard their pretty cheap these days. ~snake
The Coder
I agree with everything snake said. If all those dont work.worse case scenario is that youll need to get an new micro sd at the store. For under 15$ depending on the size you get. Shouldnt need alot of space. I use a 4GB and thd 128 mb that came with my exfiltrator
