Hello, I had to reset my markV, so using UDDUU pins powered on and I waited to see flashing leds. After that powered off, reset the pins UUUUU, power on again. After flashing, connected to computer ( newly installed win XP + added google chrome browser and nothing else to avoid complications ) , loaded page in 172.16.42.1:1471 .

I set a very simple password, using some letters, accepted eula and the other box, confirmed the form . After a while page loaded with the error message about CGI process ....

When I loaded page 172.16.42.1:1471 . again it says "passwords does not match or I havent accepted terms of use....

Leds still flashing, I can ping 172.16.42.1 but cannot ping 172.16.46.46.

ipconfig

Ip Addr : 172.16.42.231

Subnet 255.255.255.0

Def. Gateway 172.16.41.1

media disconnected...

Can you help me with your suggestions?

Pull the power of your Pineapple, plug it back in and wait for the led pattern to appear again. Then go to http://172.16.42.1:1471/ and follow the instructions again. The reason you are seeing "passwords do not match" is probably because you have something else behind the URL.

The reason you cannot ping 172.16.46.46 is because it is not a valid IP address for the Pineapple.

Best regards,

Sebkinne

tried numerous times,

it keeps saying "the passwords did not match or you didn't accept the licence"

sorry

You did check both boxes right? What browser are you using?

Oh wait. Chrome. Do you have any plugins like noscript running? Try it with internet exploder.

  • 1 month later...

hello again after a long period :)

I have tried Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera, Konqeror, Firefox ... nothing changes. Just the leds are flashing merryly .... Do you suggest to try unbreaking the box?

Or maybe order a new one and (phisically) break this one :)
