dimwhit
ok thanks, what about blacklisting the Wired port Etho MAC? on laptop I am guessing no as that how the info coming across is getting monitored? what about wirless router MAC--but suspect it follows the same logic as abouve about the Wired etho? TYTechnolust
Correct. Only the laptop wifi if you are connected to the pineapple via Ethernet from your laptop.
choppin32
i am new to this so please forgive me ....... why do we have to blacklist laptop wifi NIC MAC? i just bought the pineapple :)
TYTechnolust
You'll love the pineapple choppin32. He had his pineapple set up with his laptop to share internet access to his wireless router. He was also running Karma on the pineapple. In short, Karma attracts wifi devices to the pineapple . If you don't blacklist your laptops wifi NIC, you run the chance of your laptop connecting to the pineapples wireless AP instead of the router AP. You'll lose the connection to the internet or cause other unfavorable side affects.
