C3PBRO Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 The 24dbi yagi antenna brings in a couple more connections however not as many as i was expecting. Is there a way of changing the gain to give it more power? Do i need to buy an amp? Will the pineapple work with this antenna as well as it would with a normal Kali or BT computer? Here it is (powered off two laptop batteries) Quote
lunokhod Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Maybe try the Yagi with vertical polarity? Most antennas on wireless routers/access points are vertically polarized. Quote
yabasoya Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I have a similar one.. I need to rotate mine between horizontal and vertical to fine tune. Quote
DarkSleep Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Just taking a guess I dont think the mark v is give right amount of power to your antenna so try finding a way to boost power Dont touch Markv try buying booster for your antenna but be care full as the power from antenna could find it's way back to the markv = Markv R.I.P Quote
