badbass Posted January 10, 2014 Author Share Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) I guess I am stuck using a netbook or laptop. There is no way I can get something that can get ethernet wifi and have a usb port to hook an rs232 usb adapter to. The other problem is interfacing with it lcd screen with a keypad or touch screen. A terminal emulator is not a problem as a ssh client and Tftp client. there lots of linux operating systems that will do this. size is an issue too to do this it needs to be small enough to look like something that will not gather attention.
