need a memory testing boot SoftWare

Recommended Posts

Nearly all live linux ditros come with it, but even (I think) Since windows XP, they have a tool on their install disks for checking memory. You can also schedule a memory test on next boot via Windows(at least vista and later I believe, haven't looked at XP in a while) using mdsched so if you're on site working on someones Windows machine and in a pinch, they run vista or later and have no live discs with you, can make the system do it for you on reboot. Sure MAC has something too if you google for it.
