Nexus 7 and Alfa NHA?

I've got a Nexus 7 arriving soon and I want to keep it with my pineapple and alfa radio, I was wondering if there is a way to use the Alfa radio with the tablet to do things such as deauth for use alongside my pineapple?

I don't know if there is an OTG cable that will pick up the radio and let me use it like you would on a PC but I did read somewhere that the aircrack monitor mode does work with the Nexus 7.

which nexus 7 is this? grouper 2012 edition or the tilapia 2013 edition? the nexus devices are great at otg support, the nexus devices with bcm4330 or bcm4329 wireless chipsets will support monitor mode, injection, etc etc natively. yo ucan use most of he aircrack-ng tools including airodump, besside-ng, aireplay-ng, etc, and you can also use reaver/wash natively. no need to compile and load modules for your external usb wifi adapter or waste extra battery life or have to use external battery power. there are quite a few devices that can do this, the nexus 7, the galaxy s, galaxy s2, samsung nexus, nexus s, htc mytouch 4g (aka glacier) and more. you can use an external usb adapter if youd like but its not as simple as plug and play. you need to compile drivers/modules for your kernel that you can load in a linux chroot, you also need to disable the native wifi adapter before doing this each time otherwise you will likely crash, android does not play well with two wireless adapters active and drivers loaded at the same time. if you want more details on exactly how to get the usb wifi adapter setup and running wifi pen test tools just let me know and ill post a how to.

Thanks for the detailed response :)

It's the 2013 edition, it's not essential to have the Alfa attached and if it supports packet injection natively then that's fantastic!

Disabling the default radio each time seems like a hassle - I'll see what happens when the tablet turns up in the mail, thanks again :)
