dima202
Dear hak5, thanks for awesome educational material you give us. Recently ran into a problem where I am trying to enable monitor mode in ssh ifconfig wlan0 downiwconfig wlan0 mode monitorifconfig wlan0 up So this crashes it and I tried reset/reflash so far but no go. I had this connected to a switch with usb and ext. antenna and it worked fine... Also crashes if I tried with external card. Any ideas? dima202
So I don't really think this is a real problem since I can create a monitor interface using airmon and as long as I dont try to start an interface using ifconfig while its in monitor mode I should be okay. dima202
Just downgraded to 2.8.0 and it does not have this bug. So, this is a bug in 2.8.1 firmware...
