fringes
I upgraded to WiFi Manager 2.0 and the large tile no longer scrolls vertically (FF and Chrome).
Da_Schwartz
Hello, newb here. Registered today to echo fringes' comment. The scrolling in Wifi Manager no longer works - not sure if it was something in 2.0.4 that broke WM 2.0 or vice versa.
Da_Schwartz
Sorry for the superfluous information here... went back and saw the Sept 10th acknowledgement of the bug edit. Thanks for all your work on this infusion!
Whistle Master
Clear your browser cache and see if the problem is still there. The fix has already been done and works in FF and Chrome.
fringes
I did clear my cache of course, both FF and Chrome on Win7. I like the sub-tabs for "Radio0" and "Radio1", but there still isn't enough vertical space to display everything in the "Wireless" tab without a scroll bar. And I don't get a scroll bar for that page.
fringes
A little update... In Firebug, I changed the overflow property from hidden to scroll on the tile_expanded div CSS style and I got my scroll bar. I hope that is helpful. Also, there is some wasted space in the top right that might be useable by a second column of the "Interfaces." That fould also free up some vertical space. pretor
I have an issue with ICS. I use a external usb alfa 036NHA for internet connection. Everything works fine- on pineapple network tab there is internet connection and so on. But when I want to make client connection via pineapple AP, there is no internet connection on my device. Of course AP is on wlan0 and i was using ICS sharing on the wifi manager tab. When i am using eth0 for my internet connection, even without any setup in ICS tab, everything is working fine. DAC
Hi I've just set up my new PineappleV and there seems something strange with the Wifi Manager infusion. The Radio0 (under Wireless) works OK, but the Radio1 confuses some fields from the WLAN0-1 with WLAN1, similarly when I add the USB, i see confused config with WLAN1 (radio1) and WLAN2 (radio2) EG under Radio 1 tab, it shows Network as LAN, mode as AP, and the correct SSID, but then shows the channel as 4 (it should be 11 the same as Radio0) and then the Security mode and shared key from the WLAN1 interface. Ditto for Radio 2, show the Network OK, but the SSID and shared key from Wifi1. Am i the only one seeing this issue? I've taken to using SSH to make any changes as I don't trust what is happening on the infusion. Thanks David
Sebkinne
The infusion has not been updated to use the new firmware. Best regards, Sebkinne
Whistle Master
I'm going to update it soon.
commdogg
Hello guys, After the last update for some reason the external atheros card no longer plays. It appears under the device list, and the wifimanager infusion sees the hardware, but for some reason I can't get the device to pull a logical interface. I normally used this radio in client mode as it had much better throughput than the on board radio. Are there any ideas? I'm pulling out my hair in openwrt documentation trying to figure it out.... Thank you Comm root@Pineapple:/# ifconfig br-lan Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:13:37:A5:09:C5 inet addr:172.16.42.1 Bcast:172.16.42.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:692 errors:0 dropped:130 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:415 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:66372 (64.8 KiB) TX bytes:48997 (47.8 KiB) eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:13:37:A5:09:C5 UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:1142 errors:0 dropped:218 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:415 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:236206 (230.6 KiB) TX bytes:48997 (47.8 KiB) Interrupt:4 lo Link encap:Local Loopback inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 RX packets:149 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:149 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:11352 (11.0 KiB) TX bytes:11352 (11.0 KiB) wlan0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:13:37:A5:09:C5 UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:196 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX bytes:35273 (34.4 KiB) wlan0-1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 02:13:37:A5:09:C5 UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:193 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX bytes:34979 (34.1 KiB) root@Pineapple:/# lsusb Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 001 Device 002: ID 058f:6254 Alcor Micro Corp. Sebkinne
The infusion you are using is broken and can break the wireless configuration on the WiFi pineapple. I suggest you use the network infusion to reset your wireless config which will make wlan2 appear. Keep in mind that 'ifconfig' only shoes interfaces which are up. Adding the -a flag shows all available interfaces. Best regards, Sebkinne
commdogg
Seb, Thank you. Removing that infusion did the trick. Meanwhile, I use the pineapple as a traditional AP (travel router, etc) most of the time. It seems if I drop the hidden open access point, the wpa2 AP falls off as well. Do you have any more voodoo available regarding just having a secure AP running on the pineapple? Thanks again Comm
Whistle Master
New version is coming. For the moment, old version has been removed from the repository. 2.2 is out Edited December 30, 2014 by Whistle Master

SymPak
Clicking remove config on wlan 0-1 removes the config for wlan 0-1 and part of wlan1. Some of wlan1 remains in /etc/config/wireless Edited January 26, 2015 by SymPak
fringes
I had similar issues because I tried to restore a pre-2.2 saved config. It was all wacked out. I ended up going to the Network infusion Advanced tab and clicking "Reset Wireless Configuration." Then I just started over.
