Bolbol Posted October 31, 2013 Share Posted October 31, 2013 I know that this question may have been asked many times before, but i still don't understand why can't i use the internet after using the pineapple. Is it something about the ICS or what exactly am i doing wrong ? I have access to the pineapple homepage which is the 172.16.14.42 but when i try to download anything from the infusion bar, it keeps saying check your internet connection. So can someone guide please on how to properly setup the connection on my laptop. I'm using windows 7 Thank you in advance for your help ! levisiccard Posted November 3, 2013 Share Posted November 3, 2013 I have had this problem a few times in windows 8. Windows rebooting helped, also reconnecting my laptops NIC to my AP helped. Never had trouble using kali linux and the ./wp5.sh so if you're having this issue a lot I suggest you use linux or kali linux. and for the guide...its all in the manual and still the same as for the MarkIV Greetz Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AND windows internet connection sharing is all set up (I don't have windows, can't help there)? I think all the instructions you need are on this page. (The page is for mk3 or 4, but the "ICS" notes for windows should be just about the same). So if the Windows 7 host's wired Ethernet adapter is configured with a static IP address of 172.16.42.42 and the Internet-facing adapter(for example from another WiFi network or a 3G/4G cellular modem) is configured for Internet Connection Sharing, clients connecting to the WiFi Pineapple will get online through the Windows 7 host's Internet connection. StarFyter Posted November 3, 2013 Share Posted November 3, 2013 I had similar problems. Had Mark V connected to desktop via ethernet cable. Desktop had a wireless connection to my internet router. Enabling "Internet Connection Sharing" on the desktop did not let the Mark V cruise the internet. What I had to do was connect one of the radios on the Mark V to my wireless router, and after I suceeded at that the Mark V was now able to look for updates and download infusions. Bolbol Posted November 6, 2013 Author Share Posted November 6, 2013 Thank you so much guys its working now. The only thing that i'm still struggling with is the ssl strip. I installed the infusion and everything looks fine, but it doesn't still sniff any https connection from anyone. I tried with my android and with 2 laptops. It shows me that there 2 devices connected, but the log is always empty and it just keeps saying ssl strip is not working although i just hit enable or start. Does anyone have any idead about that ?
