soap
As a new owner and operator of a mk.5, I am interested in developing my own infusions. Which brings me to my question. Where should I start? Is it as simply up pushing a script to the pinneapple and running it? should I reference a topic somewhere in other pineapple version forums? Thanks in advance for any input! :)
Mr-Protocol
Here we go. Click on "Pineapple Bar". Click on "Bartender: Create New Infusions". Input valuable information. Click the "Create new infusion" button. You should see a success message like the one below. Refresh your main WiFi Pineapple UI page to display the updated tile. SSH to your pineapple and navigate to where your infusion is located (mine was on /sd). The default infusion location is /pineapple/components/infusions/ if you do not use the microSD card. Learn PHP and edit your UI :P. I have not made a module yet, but from the looks of things I will have a few of them in the future :D . Darren Kitchen
You can also write the infusion right from within Bartender if you don't feel like SSH'ing in. We'll be starting a video series for the pineapple here shortly and introduction to writing infusions is one of the topics.

King Crimson
Yup, looking forward to it as well. Just from messing with the helpers.js file to fix karma, I'm guessing I need to get my java script-fu chops up? :)
Barney_Rubble
I get a strange error if i try to create an infusion on the Pineapple: There was an error. Please try again. But i have try to create the infusion on the SD-card.. NO PROBLEM !! Could this be something which is related to version 1.40 ? I have just updated, and wanted to start an infusion. Darren Kitchen
Can you document the steps you took to create the error? I'll try to reproduce it / debut it on my end. Thanks!
Darren Kitchen
I was able to create a new infusion on 1.4.0 without issue from the pineapple bar.
Barney_Rubble
Hello Darren, I have tried to find out what went wrong (i still can't create infusions on my Pineapple, but i can make them on the SD), but i can't find the the solution. Furthermore.. the infusions created by the Pineapple Bar/Web interface only creates a directory on my SD. There are no files inside the directory.. If i create an infusion by using SSH (Just make the directory and create the files), it won't show up in Bartender. Any ideas? It looks like something with users and privileges. That is really strange. What's the file system of your SD card? Does it do this with a fresh install? 1.4.1 just came out - can you try it on that?
