Scrag Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I got my ducky today. I have read the how-to forums and watched the quack start you tube but I dont know how to get started. I dont know how to connect to the ducky to modify scripts etc. I know my ducky works if I plug into my windows box or my linux box it says: "# Quack! Quack! I am a USB Rubber Ducky! I can be used for various Human Interface Device attacks. Learn more, find various payloads and generators, IDEe, FAQs and Tutorials over at http://usbrubberducky.com QUACK!" I have gone here -> "https://github.com/hak5darren/USB-Rubber-Ducky/wiki/Tutorials" But it seems that its for people who know how to access the ducky drive already. Please point me in the right direction to get started - I cant find any "starter" info or documentaion. Thanks! Scrag Quote
Scrag Posted August 28, 2013 Author Posted August 28, 2013 Ive been doing some reading and a post said to take the SD card out and insert it into the pc. I could not get it out and Ive seen posts about it being stiff the first time, etc. Anyways I broke it trying to get it out. I had a 32gb sd card lying around that i replaced into it. That seems to work but Im guessing I need to download the original files that were on it and place it on my new sd card? Quote
Guest spazi Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Nono, the only file that is on the sd card is a file that is called inject.bin The inject.bin file is a file you create when you make a ducky script :) I'll make a small tutorial, but I have to go to work first. Be online later! Quote
Solution no42 Posted August 28, 2013 Solution Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) Find and download the Encoder.jar (theres one on ducky-decode website (see my signature) within the downloads section - i recommend version 2.6). You will need to have Java 1.7 installed http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp Head over to the github payloads section or https://github.com/hak5darren/USB-Rubber-Ducky/wiki/My-first-payload copy a payload into a text file eg. payload1.txt use the encoder to generate a inject.bin "java encoder.jar -i payload1.bin -o inject.bin" copy the inject.bin into the root of the sdcard put the sdcard into the ducky, the ducky into your computer watch the payload launch Edited August 28, 2013 by midnitesnake Quote
