PuTTY Question copy paste.

I am trying to figure out how paste something into puTTY on ubuntu. Tried shift commands and using both mouse buttons. Looked into it online. Is there another terminal app that is as well liked. Thanks.

Just use the normal terminal?

With putty, anything you highlight is automatically copied to the clipboard. To paste anything that's in the clipboard, simply right click in the putty terminal.
