I have a alfa AWUS36H with RTL8187L. It's been my main tool for wifi. I noticed that the hakshop sells the AWUS036NHA with atheros AR9271. Anyone tried both and which one do you prefer? And why? Infiltrator Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 I own both adapters the AWUS36H and AWUS036NHA. The former uses a Realtek chipset and the latter uses an Atheros chipset. Based on my experimentations, I'd recommend the c. It's much more stable than the AWUS36H. The AWUS36H is a long range adapter, the AWUS036NHA isn't but that shouldn't hold you back.
