AZPublishing
Friday, June 14, 2013 5:27PM Pineapple Mark IV says can't UPGRADE software I have full Internet connect yet I still get this error. I've tried it on both an iMac and my laptop Macbook Air I get the same error see screen grabs below: Any ideas how I can get the upgrades and new modules? <<Error connecting. Please make sure you have a working connection!>>
deathdealerxx
http://wifipineapple.com/?flashing You should search and read. You'll want to read the part about manually upgrading. Edited June 15, 2013 by deathdealerxx
AZPublishing
I found the manual upgrade link and downloaded upgrade-2.8.1.bin then went to the control panel selected the file and clicked upgrade. Nothing happened it got the same error see attached images. Do I need to put something in the MD5: Window?
barry99705
You have to do the internet sharing step. Just because your laptop has a connection doesn't mean the pineapple can use it. https://github.com/WiFiPineapple/web-interface/wiki/mk34quickstartguide Edited June 15, 2013 by barry99705
thesugarat
What barry said... or what I post in the other thread for you. (Direct connect to a router if you have one.) Also, posting a pic of your status page would have helped us determine whether you really have an internet connection...
