Change Windows Registry Hive Path

Does anyone know how to change the SAM database from "C:\windows\system32\config\SAM" to "D:\windows\system32\config\SAM"

Is there a registry key that holds this and can it be modified?

But you can move the ntdis.dit (where all domain creds are held)
