Chalito Posted October 7, 2006 Share Posted October 7, 2006 I'm looking for any good video players for linux. im currently running Ubuntu so if any one know of a good player that is already in the ubuntu repositories. Brayn Posted October 7, 2006 Share Posted October 7, 2006 you can never go wrong with mplayer, plays nearly everything and dosnt rape your system. if you want a more gui based player, totem-xine is always a good choice. vlc is also good. i have all 3 installed on my ubuntu system(all avalible with apt-get with the right repos), i just keep switching between them. Neither one worked, nevermind i noticed that there is no "install" after the apt-get. i got it working thanks alot. You guys are kool, i can always count on this forum for tech help.
