Mr_Mischif Posted October 7, 2006 Share Posted October 7, 2006 I'm on a laptop and something wasn't right, so I reformatted and reinstalled Windows with the reinstall disk HP gave me. Then something didn't feel right again, so I tried to reformat and reinstall with the same disk, but it doesn't work! If I run it when I'm in Windows it runs fine, but if I try to boot off of it, it doesn't work, so what's going on? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I know though that after a while though a bunch of reboots I could finally get it to boot. Jester Posted October 7, 2006 Share Posted October 7, 2006 Ahhhh just was thinking aboutyour issue and and idea came to me. Trying shutting down the laptop completely and removing the hard drive and then replacing it power up the unit I think that does a reset and should recognize the disk. :?
