mrd
Hi, I have just started to use my MK4 (Atheros 11n AP/Router+USB Port) and it restarts by itself, i think i have narrowed it down to that i does that when it has an high load. I have tested both with AC power and the supplied Pinneaple Juice battery. I have also connected the USB memory via an USB hub that is powered but it still does restart when there is a high load. What can be done to fix this issue? Regards, D
airman_dopey
It is my understanding that the MKiv was not designed to handle all the tools people have been throwing on it simultaneously. If you are trying to do too much at once, might I suggest offloading some of the tools onto a computer/pi (as many here have done) and leave the MKiv to do what it does best; a mobile honeypot. Mr-Protocol
If you throw a lot of processing at it, it will reboot. I accidentally created some sort of memory leak loop and it would reboot every 60 seconds lol. It's the watchdog part of the router which handles that.
