j4qen Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 So I'm trying to upgrade from 2.4.1 and I've tried just about every .bin and get a "md5Sum doesn't match" error every single time, and on occasion a message that says something about checking the file and "error 7". I've obviously made sure not to enter any extra spaces and things like that, I've tried adding a space to the beginning like I read in one thread but nothing...driving me nuts...any ideas? Thanks. Sebkinne Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Hey j4qen, What I would do is download the 2.7.0 upgrade.bin, SCP it to the pineapple's /tmp/ directory. Run this command (over SSH) to verify the integrity: md5sum /tmp/upgrade-2.7.0.bin
That should give you d87ddd475227f89cfb83973a2561dba8Then execute
sysupgrade -n /tmp/upgrade-2.7.0.bin
Wait for your pineapple to re-boot and make sure to have read all the changelogs so you are up to date on any changes (like UI).
