USB Drive Disappears in Pineapple Mark IV

I have been playing around with Wifi Pineapple Mark IV for couple of days. I have put in a 8GB Lexar USB disk in it to use a storage. When I use the Pineapple, sometimes after an hour or so of use, the usb partition disappears.

When I try to unmount the partition, it says "umount: can't umount /usb: Device or resource busy". When, I try to mount it back, it says "mount: mounting /dev/sda1 on /usb failed: No such file or directory".

I am confused as to what will cause the partition to disappear mysteriously? Is this a known issue with the firmware or kernel. Can a hardware issue be at play here, which a different unit may solve?
