traffic Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 so i have lost a number of wireless "nano receivers" for wireless mice. models are microsoft wireless mobile mouse 3500 logitech m305... has anyone had any luck hacking/modding these to change communication? id imagine there are only a finite number of channels for these guys to work on and unless it is burned into a rom somewhere it should be tweakable.... i just want to find a use for these guys other than christmas tree ornaments... silver-moonshine Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 the last time i dabbled with 2.4 ghz receivers , i think i was trying too find a method too connect an x-box 360 controller to my PC , as they are on the same frequency , the only way i think you may be able to do that though , is using the ubertooth device to monitor what the controller its self is doing , and what the receiver , well .. recieves from the original mouse , more specifically , what is transmited from the original mouse. , i think this would be a fun project , unfortunately i have not yet invested in an ubertooth >.< and my bank account says it may be a long time until i do :P but thaeres a sugerstion for you :) Quote
