thedeadhand Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 So i think i am using the right term data pushing. I see things like changing web data to be submitted or hacks for online games using cheat engine or what not. I am interested in this, but i dont think i am using the right terminology. Is data pushing right? Thanks Quote
Mr-Protocol Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Cheat engine just modifies local variables in your computer's memory. Quote
thedeadhand Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 sorry that wasa bad example. what is something like the kitten attack called ( when running a man in the middle attack) the one where all images are replaced with cats Quote
Mr-Protocol Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 That would be an ettercap filter. Keep in mind, doing this for games would be not only very difficult, but will probably get you banned from the respective game network. Quote
thedeadhand Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 I'm not concerned with games, i just used it as an example. i was thinking more along the lines of web sites, like questionairs ;-) just wanted to check y wording before i waist hours. Thanks for the help Quote
