InfoSec911
Can I use my Pineapple (Mark III) to bridge the hotel Wifi to wired ethernet. I have been in several rooms that only provide wireless internet. I would like to connect my pineapples wifi to the hotel network and plug in a switch on the wired side for my gear. Kinda backward from the original design, but wondered if I could do that? That way I can have my computers and my apple TV all on my own network. Maybe even plug my airport express to it. Thoughts?? Anyone????
Radau
I myself don't have a Pineapple, but I know it's very possible with a laptop so I don't see why it would be impossible with a pineapple.
GuardMoony
A loth of AP already got this build in. So the chance to make it work with a pineapple is possible. Its like you said. Mainly changing the routings and configs ( nat, firewall, dhcp, ...) arround.
