condor Posted November 7, 2012 Share Posted November 7, 2012 (edited) I found my happy spot using an Anker 10000mAh MultiVoltage battery (http://www.amazon.co...duct/B005NGKR54) and setup as follows: .......... .....This works reliably for me, and gives me hours and hours of power for all devices, which are powered directly through the MKIV via the Anker battery. I'm not using the "powered" part of the HakShop powered USB hub, just using it on whole as a passive hub. I never plug the red plug into anything. I have this same powered hub. lsusb output seems to read any device I plug into it, however, when I try to use/view any device my ssh connection just hangs. Can't even cntrl Z/C. Is this just me? I am almost pissed, lol. I can use the Hakshop hub with my netbook just fine, but as soon as I use it in conjunction w/ the pineapple...... Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?
