Think I Found A Pay Phone.

Is there a such thing as a pay phone. It was in a goofy part of town. It looks like something I can have fun with. Do they still exhist?

Yes, they still exist. Quit trying to make me feel old. Granted, they mainly reside in airports, but towns have them, too.

I haven't seen one in a long time. I remember when we had a couple posted outside the doors to my high school, before cell phones were so common. Needed a ride, call collect, and at say your name.. "hey mom, I need a ride".

We had pay phones at my school. Some ass wiped bear replant(really strong pepper spray) all over the handsets. This was years ago, and yes the numbers on my handle were my zip code.

Haha, I remember doing this all the time. Just to let my mom know where I was or if I was coming home. I remember buying a phone number from on of the kids at school for 5 dollars and you could actually put your quarter in and dial the 7 digits and get a dial tone, then you could call the actually phone number you were calling and now matter what, when you hung up you got your money back. I think of that every time I see a pay phone these days.
