here is the problem lots of modules wont work for your setup because you have not changed the repository of the module system

sed -i 's/&twoOne//g' /pineapple/pages/modules.php
[/CODE]

once you run that you will be able to download 2.0 of my module.

Sorted, thank you very much :) keep up the great work !!!

Hey I am adding a new roll I call "ghay". it goes through 4 pics nothing explicit prety tame, and a loud voice saying I'm watching gay porn ect.

what do you guys think. Is this sort of thing crossing the line???

also working with another member on plain website no pictures with the sounds of a women moaning. do you think that is ok too???

As long as the pictures ain't too hardcore, I'd say it's great! :D Both of the ideas!

I think it's funnier with only the plain site with explicit sounds, then the user might not understand where it's coming from, and they might geek around a bit before they understand and close the browser.

I don't think there is an issue. I do recommend that you mark them as explicit or similar in your module.

Yea, no need to give grandma a heart attack!

Wait! How cool would it be to just inject the sounds, and let normal browsing work! Shouldn't be too hard to just take over a link that's on 99% of all web pages on the internet [cough]facebook![/cough]

Im having a problem installing this module. I had it installed and working before till I updated to 2.6.4 using Randomroll (1.8) on 2.5.0 firmware. Every time i download it it says md5 checksum error. The size is 0K (zero kilobites) for some reason. Any ideas?

<edit>

I guess you're fixing this issue now lol

Hi,

Same issue here while trying to install the infusion ;-)

When the CGI script timeout, all children are hold on and zombified I think.

2 ways to fix this :

- Use a 2 step install (install the module, then the rolls)

- Increase the time exec in php (not so clean)

What does seb think about this ?

Let me quickly reply to this:

1. Wgetting content from servers that are not ours is not allowed. There may be exceptions but this is unlikely. This way we can make sure that infusions are not harmful to the pineapple. The same goes for obfuscated / encoded code.

2. I agree the module system needs a bit of work. It currently CAN time out - something that I will make sure to eliminate asap. This however is not the issue. That leads me to..

3. The tar.gz the pineapple downloads from our servers is corrupted. It seems as if the file Petertfm uploaded was corrupted or got corrupted during the upload. That can happen. Peter, please re-submit the module but increment the version number.

If you want to duplicate my findings, you can make your pineapple download the module, cd to /tmp/modules/ and download that tar.gz file. Run an md5 sum on it. If the download did not corrupt, you will find that the sum is 697a0fe386b0f2e26227854cccd54dd8. This is the sum we have on our servers too.

Best Regards,

Sebkinne

Sorry guys I have been busy and finnally working again;-P I have hopfully solved the issue of a corrupt tar.gz if not then it is possable that creating a tar.gz from the pineapple itself could be the issue.

EDIT:

I is not fixed:-( I even re-flashed and I beleve It could be an issue with the size of the tar.gz and creating it on the pineapple itself

I will atempt to create on backtrack

EDIT 2:

I tar.gz'ed my module using backtrack and it untars ok so hopfully I found the issue (to big folder/files tar'ed on the pineapple itself)

Ok I tried to install randomroll 2.5 but I kept getting a cgi timeout error in firefox but it shows as installed in the list of infusions.

however when I click on it it says randomroll.php not found, so I uninstalled it and tried again but it was the same

I had to copy out the mk4-module-RandomRoll-2.5.tar.gz from /tmp/modules with winscp and extract it to my desktop (windows 7)

and then copy the files and folders one by one to /usb/modules/RandomRoll, and now it works

Maybe the pineapple has problems installing large files ?
