Wifi Pineapple As Access Point

I am stuck in a hotel with poor wifi, but moderately good wired internet. I have a laptop, and a wifi pineapple. I'd like to use the pineapple as a wireless access point, but I am missing that "AH HA" moment when I understand it and get it working. So, to recap... Wire from hotel into WAN on pineapple. I can connect to http://172.16.42.1/pineapple/ and I can telnet into it, but just too brain dead to get the next step. Routing tables???
