Masterpyro Posted September 21, 2006 Share Posted September 21, 2006 I got a 20GB ext3 drive i want to make into a drive i can access on a windows computer on my network. i have checked google and looked for help in the irc room(and ive gotten as far as mounting and formating it with help from irc. Masterpyro Posted September 22, 2006 Author Share Posted September 22, 2006 i have done that and i do not know how to edit it. i have added this code to the bottem of the smb.conf file and need to set a username and password. last time i tried it my linux login user and pass did not work.
