This could be a great thing to add to the project because that would not only make your internet a bit safer "as far as file sharing/porn" but would also save precious bandwidth Sounds like even a module could implement this, I just don't know much about php and iptables? Technoprenerd Posted March 31, 2012 Share Posted March 31, 2012 Hey, I was kind of thinking in the same direction. My idea is; to make a 'prank' page just like nyan cat/rickrolling. The only difference is that the targets need to have internet connection for an X amount of time, say 15 minutes. So after 15 minutes the internet connection is stopped, and displays the prank page. The idea for the prank page will be to have all their (segment by their WLAN IP) information such as urlsnarf, dnsspoof, etc. on the prank page and display it to them. [X] check box to block everything [_] check boxes for http/https allow [X] Ect this is open for anyone that wants to take the idea been trying for a while to get nodogsplash to work. the .conf file looks like you can set it up just to do traffic ( port restrictions ) bandwidth ( both up and down ) control with a time out setting. but so far i've had to reflash the pineapple cause i keep messing up the settings. I'm currently working on a Monitor module to display some information such as the total transmitted/received data, rates, etc. for all interfaces.
