cody t
Hello everyone, I ordered the wifi pineapple mark 4 recently and have not yet gotten it, however i used to have the wifi pineapple mark 2 about a year ago and i had some issues with it. i was wondering if anyone knows enough about the wifi pineapple mark 4 to give me a brief walk-threw of it before it arrives. I need a basic reference from first plugging it into the interface to social media password stealing, other tricks and more! as much as you know (from personal experience) about it!!! (NOTE: i am running a macbook pro 2010 model with an intel chipset and version 10.6.8) Thanks! -cody
Mr-Protocol
All I can suggest is check www.wifipineapple.com for some wiki and searching around the forums in the Jasager thread. Which is were I'll be moving this question to.

Don't think we're snubbing you Cody - we're not that type of community here. Its just that this forum has been swarmed with these exact same posts. Please check some of them over, and read the quick start guide that comes with your mark4 when it arrives. It details everything you'll need to know to get started. Everything else can be found here and if its not here, do a write up so that it is! telot
combatwombat27
I have tried asking this in my own thread befor but I've never gotten a solid answer. I bought a mark 2 right before the release of the three ( I was very said to get supprised within a month or so that I had just bought something outdated :( ) and was wondering if it is upgradeable to any revision of newer code. ( know there were hardware changes in 3 and 4 but I don't know if the code was written just for them

combatwombat27
Sweet, I'm so glad to hear I can make it a mark 3 :) , is the software a major jump from 3 to 4? Or is it just better hardware and support for stuff like broadband cards?
Mr-Protocol
You CANNOT flash the Mark II with Mark IV software. Also keep in mind the Mark II may be a little sluggish with the Mark III firmware. To flash your Mark II with the Mark III firmware, follow the guides for using the AP51 flash tool. (I have a youtube video I made). The Mark IV uses a different flashing procedure. DO NOT mix and match firmwares and flashing procedures.
