TylerCPU
Oh boy, I accidently deleted the /www/pineapple/ folder which has the web interface on it. It boots up fine and I can connect to it using winscp and look at the files fine. I just need a copy of the pineapple folder again and copy it over. I have the 1.0.2 firmware. HELP...... In my browser it says,"No such file or directory" when connecting to 172.16.42.1/pineapple
Kristof
Why not just re-flash it? Is it a Mk4 or 3?
TylerCPU
Why not just re-flash it? Is it a Mk4 or 3? Its the MK4. I looked at how to reflash but don't have a serial cable and don't want to do that.I just need a copy of the pineapple folder. And if I did want to reflash it what method do I use(http://wifipineapple.com/doku.php?id=flashing_guide)? Can I use the ap51 flashing tool or not, like the MK2 pineapple? Even If I wanted to flash it the rootfs.bin and kernal.bin files are not downloadable. I get a 403 error forbidden. This is what I get at here(http://wifipineapple.com/mk4/factory/), "You don't have permission to access /mk4/factory/ on this server." HELP. Thanks

OK I was able to download the upgreade.bin through the ##Alternative link## Here(http://forums.hak5.org/index.php?showtopic=25753).I did as you said on the upgrading instructions(Shmoocon edition) and IT WORKS FINE. Thank you soo much!!:) Now I have a question. What does the upgreade.bin do,how does it "flash" it? Because on the MK2 I used to flash it with the AP51 app and flash the rootfs and openwwdrt.lzam(something like that) and the filesystem would be rebuilt. The upgreade.bin I don't think is flashing the bear bones as you could say.How does that work? Thanks a bunch! :)
TylerCPU
Download it from here: https://github.com/sebkinne/wifipineapple AHH Thanks. THERE ARE the Pinapple folders, but I already did the upgrade.bin upgrade to fix that. Thats going to be bookmarked. Your the best.:)
Mr-Protocol
Mark III was a different type of boot loader (redboot). The Mark IV uses UBoot so you only need one file to flash it. Kind of like your default linksys firmware which is only one *.bin file.
