Mark Iv Reaver Issues

Recommended Posts

After issuing the command (reaver -i mon.wlan0 -b <bssid> -c <channel of WAP> -vv) reaver hangs on waiting for a beacon from the AP. This is my own AP and I have successfully tested Reaver against it in the past, any suggestions? My mark IV is running the 1.0.2 firmware.

Afaik, no one has been able to get it to function correctly on the Pineapple.

You can SSH into the device and issue

ifconfig mon.wlan0 down
ifconfig wlan0 down
airmon-ng stop mon.wlan0 (or) airmon-ng stop wlan0

then

ifconfig start wlan0

At this point, it should start an interface called mon0

then try

reaver -i mon0 -b xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx -vv

Good Luck! :)

(EDIT: After doing a little Google-fu, this seems like it might be a problem with OpenWRT)

I followed these steps but it only goes in circles between ch1 to ch14
