tekapeks Posted February 26, 2012 Share Posted February 26, 2012 I have been using the MK3 for a while now and never had any problems setting it up with my laptop running BT5 r1. But since this morning whenever I run the wp3.sh script my wifi connection gets drop when the wired connection gets an adress assigned to it. Same thing happen when i try to reconnect the wifi, the wired connection gets drop. Its like if they cant work both at the same time but I never had that problem before. To run both a wired connect and wifi connect at same time, you need to disable the wicd network manager before enabling the second connect. At least, this did the trick for me. I just started connecting throught terminal....... disable wcid.... #iwconfig wlan0 essid router name here #dhclient wlan0 or #wpa_supplicant -B -Dwext -i wlan0 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf #dhclient wlan0 then run #ifconfig eth0 172.16.42.42 netmask 255.255.255.0 up #./wp3.sh should work...
