stingwray
Perhaps if your question made more sense then we would be able to give you a better answer. Simple solution, install ubuntu if you like it. Live CDs are really only for trying out the OS and for fixing OSs installed on a computer that are broken. VaKo
Not sure how to go about this, but i think in this case your best bet is to have a go at making it yourself.
Guest
you could use a usb drive to store the settings, then when ever you boot into the liveCD just make sure that you have the usb drive pluged in and load your settings.

VaKo
http://osx.portraitofakite.com/ XP -> OSX http://baghira.sourceforge.net/ http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=26538 KDE -> OSX How to make your very own custom linux LiveCD: http://www.slax.org/ http://myslax.bonsonno.org/ http://slax.linux-live.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8179 http://os.newsforge.com/os/05/06/09/161924...d=2&tid=140 (OSX "skins" for your live CD) http://www.slax.org/modules.php?category=a...mp;name=Baghira http://www.slax.org/modules.php?category=a...;name=OS-X%27er You basically make your own version of a slax based CD, and then make and add the moduals for baghira to make it look like OSX. There is even a nice windows program called MySlax Creator that will make the CD for you. Not ubuntu, but hope it helps.
VaKo
Takes about 5mins to do, and is pretty much point&click.
