badbass
I built a small form factor pc the bar my family owns. I was having problems with start up issues and heat. I changed the power supply to one that is out side the box and put a pci fan to push heat out of the case. At first I thought this was strange having a power supply outside the pc. It generates very little heat and is silent. A plus is if need be I can put a case fan in.
Mr-Protocol
Power supplies are (imo) the top three offender of heat, maybe 4. CPU GPU PSU HDD
Infiltrator
Most components inside a computer, CPU, HDD, Graphics card and even the power supply will generate a lot of heat, if they are under heavy load. Under normal load they should not generate too much heat. But I would recommend keeping the computer and the components well ventilated if you can.
