@Sebkinne. Thanks for the quick reply. I've reflash 2.1.2 about 5 times already (Using GUI and Redboot method) so I'm starting to suspect a hardware issue, but would like to try another version of the firmware before making any final conclusions and investing in new hardware. Can you please upload v1.9 for me? Thank you in advance.

Here you go.

PLEASE report back and let me know if this fixes it.

To anyone else reading this, please do not use the 1.9 firmware.

Best,

Ok... I flashed my MK3 back to version 1.9 and then did a factory reset. This seemed to have fixed Karma. Then I flashed back to 2.1.2 and karma is still working! Strange issue indeed, but I'm very happy that my pineapple is back up and running and with the latest firmware. Thanks for the support and thank you for all the work and the awesome firmware!

I need some instruction on how to update my MK3. I haven't messed with it since last fall and want to update to the latest firmware. I've searched the website and the forum. But I can not find the instructions for flashing the MK3 anywhere....

HELP :)

think you can use the program fonflash(haven't tried it myself) or if you have a serial cable

setup a tftp server with the address 192.168.1.2

boot it up and then ctrl+c at bootup

then

ip_address -l 192.168.1.1/24 -h 192.168.1.2

fis init

load -r -b %{FREEMEMLO} openwrt-atheros-vmlinux.lzma

fis create -e 0x80041000 -r 0x80041000 vmlinux.bin.l7

load -r -b %{FREEMEMLO} openwrt-atheros-root.squashfs

fis create -l 0x6E0000 rootfs

reset

it will reboot and the firstboot up takes a good min so just be patient

Any news with regard to the release of a version of Mk3 Firmware higher than 2.1.2? Can't wait to upgrade the firmware :) .

Besides, I've got 2 issues with 2.1.2:

1. Association log stops working after a while (usually, after some days)

2. Factory reset button renders the WP3 inoperable.

In such case, only reflashing with AP-51-flash helps, which restores both the operability and the Association Log feature.

Any ideas?
