Plex Media Server Authentication

After seeing the latest episode of the show I've been waiting on something like this since '08 After trying a few other solutions such as Jinzora, this one seems perfect and much better support for all that non-programmer's out there using the app. Curious to know if anyone has any idea's how I could force authentication on the server? It appears to only work with Plex Media Server, but am wondering if there is a way to setup some form of authentication/login to view remotely.

I looked at trying to implement a way to access it via Adito OpenVPN-als, but it seems as if the media center needs to actually be installed on each machine or device viewing the content. I'd like to do this without using the myplex account if possible.
