Can someone out there please give me a newbie tutorial to get airsnarf working as I'm having trouble setting up the wifi card, dhcpd, httpd and sendmail. I'm currently finding it hard to get any documentation on airsnarf. If you know of any alternative please let me know

dude i have it running its just the configuration I am unsure off. The instructions http://airsnarf.shmoo.com/ just tell how to install. Thanks Morfir for the advice good for learning the conceptual side which is important

The top right of that websites has the Defcon presentation a Black Hat presentation and lots of other information.

Your /etc/init.d/httpd: Have you made any change to this configuration file. If not, sounds like you will need to configure it.

./airsnarf: line 48: /etc/init.d/sendmail: No such file or directory, a good indication that sendmail hasn't been configured properly or not installed at all.

Infiltrator, that picture you posted is part of the custom firmware they have for WRT54G routers. Not just the tool airsnarf.

Oh I see what you mean! Either way, I was wondering if there was any hidden advanced settings that was not visible in the picture.
