Tried Cain and Wireshark, and they work great, but im wondering if there are any others with different features that i could try out, not looking for anything in particular, just anything that does something Cain and Wireshark cant. Infiltrator Posted December 9, 2011 Share Posted December 9, 2011 There are a lot of sniffers out there for different purposes. But you will need to be specific on what you are trying to achieve. Good point, Networkminer not only work as a passive sniffer but it has the capability to reconstruct the sniffed data. For instance, if someone is uploading a file to a server you will be able to retrieve a copy of that file too, as long as the traffic is not encrypted.
