The name should be either 1. Closely related to what you're going to be focusing on (i.e. hardware, programming (even certain languages), wifi, etc). or 2. a name that has nothing to do with it or even could be possibly offending to some readers.

there's not much in a name. Hak5 could have been called "kill-9" and as long as the content was the same people would be wearing "Kill-9" t-shirts instead of Hak5 t-shirts.

My other advice isnt about names, rather, when it comes to online publications of any sort the golden rule, at lease in my opinion, is "don't promise, produce"
