yikes firefox acting wierd , help ?

ok snce today (i have no clue why)

when i click on a link to a image

or try to view a image in my browser

it gives me this instead of displaying it ...

why ???

and how do i fix this ?

Options > Content > Load Images

Look in Tools > Options... > Downloads > View & Edit Actions, if you find an action for BMPs you can delete it. Otherwise you might try looking at the settings of your various extensions since you seem to have a couple just for download options and see if something there is messing it up.

Also different web servers might give you different mime types, if the server says it is image/bmp firefox should be able to show it but if the server says it's a download that window will pop up regardless of settings.

firefox seems not to b the problem

its something with a corrupt header of certain bmp's (ye well weird)

for example try going to this image with FF (just one i picked from google): http://www.precarn.ca/preincorp/PrecarnCon..._to_Precarn.bmp
