Wpa-2 Wifi Connection Requesting Username And Password?

Alright, so since I am new here if this kind of stuff isn't allowed then please let me know and I'll take my question to a different forum elsewhere on the inter-webs.

So I'm at school and I decided to watch the latest episode of hak5, however, YouTube is blocked by the M60 (or is it M80? I can't remember) web filter. I learned from a teacher that the staff internet connection doesn't have this filter in place, so I decided to try and use the episode about cracking WPA's with cowpatty to get access to this wifi with all the youtube-y goodness. Upon arriving at school I found out that the connection requires a username and password to connect, not just a WPA key (this password would be the username and password teachers use to log-in to their laptops).

My question:

Does anybody know of a way to 'do some magical techy stuff' and either bypass the log-in completely or to obtain log-in information? (this would be a great job for the wifi pineapple, however I don't have $100 to spend on one *sadface* )

Wow. -5 Karma points for not reading the forum rules on hacking + schools. Confucius say, he who go to bed with itchy butt, wake with smelly finger, but he who have bad Karma, have no hope at all.

OK, if you watch the past seasons of Hak5, I think it would be seasons 5 or 6. Darren talked about of ways of how to bypass web filters, by building your own proxy server or SSH server.

I would recommend you watching those videos. They will save you a lot of trouble.

wow, way to miss my "I'm new here so please tell me if this is not allowed" message, me say, "read my entire post or remain silent"

and thank you Infiltrator, that does seem like a good alternative so I will view that video when I return home but until I will move to a more hacking based forum and re-post my question there

Someday when you learn a little more, you will go back and read my post, and see that I gave you all the help you needed, even though I shouldn't have.

Even if he is successful, his behavior is going to get him caught and he doesn't even know it.

But that isn't our problem, its his. What you do on your own is your responsibility. We don't condone hacking your school, but if you want to, thats up to you.

That means that particular server is overloaded. Use another one.

Your username/pw is not for the FTP - the server asking at all means it doesnt want anyone except admins to open new connections at the moment.

By the way, Digip was referring to Karma, read this URL to understand it better, http://hakshop.myshopify.com/collections/frontpage/products/wifi-pineapple
