Stuck During Debrick

Recommended Posts

I bought a usb to serial adapter and I have got putty connected through the usb COM

I ran the following command to try to debrick it but It keeps getting stuck at erasing memory.

Is there a way to upload new firmware and install it through the usb com port?

I get to the point in the tutorial where it has you run the following command

fis init -f

this command just causes the following output

About to initialize [format] FLASH image system - continue (y/n)? y

*** Initialize FLASH Image System

... Erase from 0xa8030000-0xa87e0000:

then it just hangs
