Xcellerator
Hi, I've been looking for a couple of days now for somewhere that sells a device compatible with jasager (Other than eBay and the HakShop, ofcourse)... Does anyone here know of a site that sells a mini router (Open Mesh OM1, Fonera 2100, Fon+, etc...) that jasager can be installed on? I would just buy a WiFi Pineapple, but I want to set it up myself to attempt to get a further grasp of how it works should anything go wrong once I get it going. Thanks for any help... Mr-Protocol
The open mesh is on their site (OM1P) model.
Xcellerator
yeah, I saw that one, but it isn't fully compatible with the Jasager software yet, is it? Sebkinne is supposed to be still working on it? Does anyone know where you can pick up the old FON models or the original Open Mesh (OM1)? Xcellerator
Would this router work with Jasager? It appears to tick the boxes. I searched for "Gargoyle" on the site and found a few references, but nothing about the Pocket Mini Router. Pocket Mini Router It says it is a MR3201A and it's Atheros. Doesn't ship to UK, so I'm still kinda stuffed...
Mr-Protocol
Hmmm That accton model seems familiar. Maybe its the same model as Fon2100. http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/LaFonera_Info_Hardware-Specifications Yup, That is the same model as the Fon2100 so it should work. Xcellerator
How about the Alfa AP51? I seen it mentioned as a replacement for the FON+ in some places. I'll add any new compatible routers to the OP as a reference aswell. The Alfa AP51 seems to be more popular and easier to get hold off. Mr-Protocol
Not sure if it works. Post the specs.

Mabas
On the subject, anyone looked at NanoStation (http://ubnt.com/nanostation) yet? I was reading up on openwrt hardware list and they seem to be using Atheros AR2315. Would they work? Tempted to get one if I can find a shop selling it nearby. bobbyb1980
If I'm not mistaken what they are selling at that gargoyle shop is an OM1P which is not compatible with Jasager. In my opinion though, you don't really need Jasager just something capable of ICS.

m1k
I have two Foneras 2200 with Gargoyle installed.... I do not see any reason why jasager could'n push on these Accton. I always use Gargoyle flash utility (I have ten foneras),very very handy.
Jadewolf05
I picked up a couple netgear wn3000rp wifi extenders insanely cheap... Just woundering if these would work with jasager... From what ive been able to find out it has a broadcom BCM5357B0 chipset, 4 MB (MXIC 25L3206E) flash, and i think 256M. Ram ( the chip is a WINBOND W9425G6EB). I havnt seen support for these on any of the custom firmware sites (dd-wrt, open wrt, ect.) just an fyi.
