I'm having a problem installing Proxmox VE.

Here is the iso:

• proxmox-ve_1.8-5754-4.iso

I have verified the MD5sum is correct.

My hardware is:

ASUS P7P55 LX LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard

3ware 9650SE-4LPML PCI Express Lanes: 4 SATA II Controller Card RAID Levels 0, 1, 5, 10, Single Disk, JBOD, KIT

KINGWIN KF-4000-BK 3.5" Internal hot swap rack raid-4 bay

Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor BX80605I5750

HITACHI Deskstar HD32000 IDK/7K (0S00164) 2TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive x4

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL

The four (4) HDD are setup into a RAID-5 array. When I load from the DVD I get to the initial splash image, hit return to start the installation and then the following gets posted on the screen:

"

ACPI: I/O resource 0000:00:1f.3 [0x4000-0x41f] conflicts with ACPI region SMRG [0x400-0x41f]

searching for cdrom

testing again in 5 seconds

testing again in 5 seconds

testing cdrom /dev/sr0

found proxmox cdrom

Starting Proxmox installation

Installing additional hardware drivers

Starting the hotplig events dispatcher: udevd.

Synthesizing the initial hotplug events...done.

Waiting for /dev to be fully populated...

"

It is at this point that the installation hangs. Any help would be very appreciated.

Sounds like something is not configured properly at the raid level.
