Hi,

I have been asked to create a website by my boss. Whilst I can do this in code pretty easily, he would like it to be able to have it modified by other administrators.

I recall seeing on the show a hosting company that allowed you to create a website quite simply.. It was done using a GUI interface, which is what I really need for these staff.

Being able to edit the code would be great as well.... if possible.

Does anyone know the name of the company offering this?

Thanks

Set up a content management system like Joomla, then they will not need you anymore for web design because they can do it themselves (out of job) unless they can not figure out how to use Joomla admin system for themselfs.. then you will get calls to teach them how to use it.

Wordpress, FTW! Joomla has more holes than Swiss Cheese, ad Drupal is a PITA to use.

Thats a good thing, so when the Joomla site crashes you will have more work lol

Or a bad thing if you recommend it to a customer and they get hacked on a regular basis, you lose their business, trust and reputation for work. And I have no desire to fix it, I only do web design, not security or server maintenance.

In a way, its bad. Clients do not want to have things breaking all the time. Sometimes you can't help, but if something is breaking all the time, things are not looking good for your reputation and they will get frustrated and look else where, or find a different techie. Someone better that can fix the problem for once.

Trust me, its bad and you don't want it.
