Sammael Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 I have been trying to listen to the songs on this page. But as I am in the UK it says I cant, I presume this is the website checking my IP address, as I havent needed to sign in or give away location details. I have been experimenting with TOR and other anonmyizing software, but they seem to create random paths, not always ending in the US. I have been wondering is there a way that just allows one to connect to a server in the US, or for that matter anywhere else in the world. Thanks. Quote
stingwray Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 There was a digg article on using US proxies to watch the TV shows on american websites and UK proxies to allow US people to watch BBC coverage of the World Cup. Have a look there. Quote
Sammael Posted August 14, 2006 Author Posted August 14, 2006 Have tried putting a few US proxy addresses in the connection settings in firefox, but it still thinks Im outside of the US. Is this something that the javascript is doing, maybe? Any other ideas. Quote
