lazaruswws
insidiea, irc servers are usually referred to as ircd or irc daemons here is a link http://www.irchelp.org/irchelp/ircd/

PoyBoy
Check out HydraIRC for a Windows XP easy to set up portable type server

moonlit
No but you're beginning to get irritating, you replied here to a thread that was dead with a pointless post, you changed your avatar so just about the largest avatar I've ever seen anyone try and get away with (after we've asked you already to get a smaller one) and you (intentionally or otherwise) pointed someone to what appeared to be a spam site. I don't like to act funny towards members but that only works if they co-operate.
DeGrijze
If you are running a windows server try IRCXPRO. This windows IRC-SERVER software is easy to setup and runs better than some of the Linux based IRC-SERVER software. Gerard
