digip Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 Nessus is a reporting/scanner utility to help identify security issues. Its not however going to do the exploit for you, just help you identify where the holes are. You need to know how to fix the holes and Nessus gives you a heads up on things you might have missed as an auditor for your company. http://www.exploit-db.com/search/ will let you plug in the CVE to search if there are working exploits in their database.
